Iakopo vies for the lead in Peewee 1 Class

Conan Iakopo continues to close in on current Peewee 1 Class leader Ezekiel Camacho after sweeping the fifth leg of the Marianas Racing Association’s 2021 Point Series Race’s held last May 30 at Cowtown Raceway Park in Marpi.
Iakopo, who has been topping the last few rounds of the series, did it again, topping the fifth leg with a total score of 50 points to bump his overall score up to 194. He currently vies for the lead at just 13 points behind current top seed Camacho.
Camacho snagged second place in both heats of the 5th series race to gain a total of 44 points to bring his total up to 207 and currently risks losing his standing if Iakopo continues his win streak.
Kassidy Villagomez came in at third place during the series race to gain a total of 40 points, bringing her up to 178. Villagomez, who is at fourth place overall, is also vying for a promotion against Zane Fujihara who currently holds the No. 3 spot in overall standings with just an 11-point advantage.
Fujihara, who landed fifth place during the most recent series of the race, gained 33 points to bring his overall score up to 189.
In the Peewee 2 Class, Jonoah Santos continues to sweep his races, landing first again to gain him 50 points, bringing his overall score up to 250.
T.J. Ferrer, who currently holds No. 3 spot in the overall standings, landed second place in the fifth series race to gain 44 points and bump his overall total up to 164.
Keenan Togawa, who remains at second place overall, completed the Top 3 during the series race to gain him 40 points, bringing him up to 210.
Meanwhile, in the Peewee ATV Class, Keoni Rosario continues his win streak with his second win of the series during the fifth leg of the race, earning him 50 points. He currently remains at No. 3 with a total score of 144.
Class top seed Brooklyn Susulin landed second place for both heats of the fifth leg of the series to earn 44 points, bringing her total up to 218.
Completing the Top 3 was Ryan Borja who just joined the series during its fifth leg. Borja earned 40 points to put him at sixth place overall.
