Registration begins June 1 for JKPL’s Summer Reading Program

Readers of all ages from early literacy, children, teens, and adults on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota are invited to explore the animal kingdom this summer as the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library presents “Tails and Tales” during the 2021 Summer Reading Program.

Package-to-Go activities consists of books, STEAM activities, reading logs, supplies, and more! This summer, teens will participate in virtual Reading Challenges, volunteer opportunities and writing events available at www.cnmilib.org.

The 2021 Summer Reading Program Package-to-Go is open to the first 300 registered participants prioritizing underserved and underprivileged children. There are incredible prizes you can win every week this summer like gift certificates galore, books, and so much more. All programs are free of charge, with weekly completion prizes, reading challenges for most books read, virtual storytimes, and cultural classes. Registration for “Tails and Tales” Package-to-Go begins on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 to June 11, 2021, ongoing until filled. Package-to-Go distribution will begin Wednesday, June 15, 2021.
