MCS inducts 57 students into NEHS and NJHS

Fifty-seven elementary and middle school students were inducted into Mount Carmel School’s Sacred Heart Chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society in a ceremony at the Mount Carmel Cathedral.

The ceremony was led by deacon Rosiky Camacho, school administrators, and society officers.

The inductees were selected by a faculty council that reviewed the academic standing of elementary and middle school students who had maintained a grade point average of 3.75 and had demonstrated how they had fulfilled the society’s values of scholarship, responsibility, service, leadership, and character.

This year’s inductees in the National Elementary Society are Trisha Dela P. Abuan, Janessa Francine T. Arriola, Kimason R. Cabrera, Kingston Isaiah T. Deleon Guerrero, Ciana Lei B. Demapan, Fatima Joy V. Dimaun, Mia Remae V. Guerrero, Ye Lynn Ha, Gabriella Aundrea B. Inos, Siwoo Lee, Caydince Raine M Masga, Miguel Garret R. Mendoza,  Joey Claude B.Mostales, Payton Thomas T. Pangelinan, Leonmar Jaedon B. Regalado, Jaze Enzo P. San Nicolas, Julius Yue Sheu, and Arstin Itibwlschigh D. Tagabuel.

Among the new members of the National Junior Honor Society are Wayne Dominic E. Ano, Christine Rosanne N. Castro, Mikayla I. Castro, Jada B. Chang, Carly Kate P. Dela Cruz, Christopher James N. Dela Cruz, Kaitlyn Alexza A. Drilon, Alexandria Dysangco, Patrick V. Guerrero, Jaeyun Jung, Maya Jae C., Chae Eun Jung, Kim, Justin O. Mallari, Ayanna Faith H. Matsumoto,  Patricia Ann Matsumoto, Hope Gianna McQuay, Maya Elaine McQuay, Sarah Angela B. Melchor, Camron Zavier S. Pangelinan, Nicole Angela Pangelinan, Raina Park, Jay Francis Dominic O. Pineda, Emmanuel C. Pontiveros, Kaden Christian M. Propst, Iris Maleia S. Rasa, Frank Anthony M. Reyes, Kayli Ari L. Salas, Dylan D. Santos, Victor Nash M. Santos, Stephanie Joyce C. Sevilla, Taher Shakir, Juliana Magan T. Subang, Aryana Carmen A. Taimanao, Jose Clarence S. Tenorio, Quince Emanuele O. Tizon, Sage R. Villagomez, Chan Seo Yeom, Chan Woong Yeom, and Kelly Zheng.

MCS president Dr. Galvin Deleon Guerrero shared his pride in these students for doing so well despite the pandemic. “Maintaining high grades during a pandemic is not easy, which is why I applaud all our students for doing so well in their classes. I must also recognize the hard work of our teachers and the support from our student’s families to help them reach this academic achievement.” (PR)
