Water service interruption due to low water tank level
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there is currently an ongoing emergency water service interruption due to the low water tank level at the Capitol Hill water tank.
This interruption will cause the areas of Capital Hill, Mt. Tapochau, Wireless Ridge, Talafofo, Papago, I-Denni, Sadog Tasi, Navy Hill, Chalan Galaide, Garapan, China Town, and As Falape to have low pressure to no water, especially during peak hour.
The cause of the low tank levels is from the dry season we are currently experiencing, causing the water production from the Agag well field to decrease. To mediate the low water to no pressure problem to the affected areas, CUC will be extending water service from the As Terlaje tank on Beach Road and Middle Road (from the Quartermaster Road to Micro Beach Road) every other day, which began on May 15, 2021, and will continue until further notice.
CUC urges the public to practice water conservation methods during this dry season period.
CUC continues to work diligently to minimize any inconvenience to its customers. For more information, contact the CUC Hotline (236-4333) or monitor our Facebook page for the latest updates (https://www.facebook.com/CommonwealthUtilitiesCorporation/). (PR)
