Fire breaks out at apartment in Sadog Tasi
A fire that occurred at a three-bedroom home at the Flame Tree Apartments in Sadog Tasi last Monday was put out in a little over 30 minutes and no one was reported injured in the blaze.
According to a statement from the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services, a male individual called 911 on Monday, May 10, 2021, at approximately 9:52 pm, reporting a fire. A DFEMS fire engine was the first to arrive on scene at 10pm and confirmed it was a structure fire. A two-man team managed to enter the house and, at 10:30pm, the fire was under control and was fully extinguished, according to Charlie company commander Lt. John C. Camacho.
A DFEMS Division of Fire Prevention and Arson Investigation, which was led by Firefighter III Lorenzo Deleon Guerrero, stated that the structure was a three-bedroom fully concrete home with one occupant. The individual was not harmed during the time of the fire, and did not request to be seen by the medics on scene. One bedroom on the east side sustained severe to moderate smoke and heat damage. The entire home had minor smoke damage throughout the interior.
Firefighter III Lorenzo Deleon Guerrero stated that the fire is “still under investigation and more information will be given out accordingly. (PR)
