- Following the proclamation signing was the unveiling and ribbon cutting of Sagan Amot, touted to be the first-of-its kind public medicinal garden in the CNMI. It is located at the foot of the Sabana mountain range in Sinapalo. This is a project of the Rota municipality led by Mayor Efraim Atalig. Leading the unveiling were Atalig, Rep. Donald Manglona, and several island leaders.
