Scheduled power service interruption on Tuesday
There will be a scheduled power service interruption on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, from 9am to 2pm in Koblerville. The utility lines in the area will be de-energized to allow linemen of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. to safely replace three (3) rotted primary power poles.

• Tuesday, April 27, 2021

– Time: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

– Areas Affected: Koblerville (Sentada Ct., Asnentukon St., and partial areas along Alaguan St.);

– Distribution Circuit: Kiya-2

– Water Well Affected: None

– Wastewater Lift Station Affected: None

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.

NAVFAC Pacific awards $80 million contract for work in the Pacific
JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM—Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific awarded an $80 million indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) modification contract Apr. 15 to AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of Los Angeles, Calif., for architect-engineering services for environmental actions at various locations within the NAVFAC Pacific area of operations. 

The additional capacity will support the Navy’s Environmental Restoration Program, which is dedicated to environmental protection and stewardship through responsive, sustainable solutions to ensure Navy readiness.  

The term of the contract is not to exceed five years with an expected completion date of August 2022. (PR)
