TAMUNING, Guam—Docomo Pacific recently donated a Samsung smartphone to the American Red Cross Guam Chapter to be used to support military service members, veterans, and their families.

“This communication device would allow the Red Cross to connect service members, veterans and their families to the assistance they need 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year,” said Chita Blaise, chief executive officer of the American Red Cross Guam Chapter. “This generous donation helps us fulfill one of our critical missions.”

Docomo Pacific continues to partner with the American Red Cross Guam Chapter in their efforts to provide humanitarian aid to the community. In March, the American Red Cross celebrated individuals that turned compassion into action by helping others in times of crisis. Docomo Pacific supported this by making the donation. Individuals are encouraged to join the American Red Cross effort through volunteering, donating blood, learning lifesaving techniques, or making a financial donation. (PR)
