Charter Day committee extends deadline for competitions

The Northern Marianas College Charter Day Committee has extended the deadline for those interested in participating in the Charter Day competitions: Marianas Idol, Battle of the Bands, and the Hilux Truck and Sport Compact Car Show. The new deadline to submit registration forms has been extended to Monday May 12, 2014.

The Charter Day celebration will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014, at the NMC field from 5pm to 10pm. The event will showcase various programs celebrating employee and student achievement, and featuring great entertainment. Delicious food, drinks, and games will also be offered for sale by numerous vendors.

The registration fee to compete in the car show is $25. Auditions for the Battle of the Bands will take place on May 12, 2014, and Marianas Idol will be on May 13, 2014. The auditions will be held in the Student Center, Building J at the As Terlaje campus from 4pm to 6pm.
