Live the beach life everyday with WAVE Apparel

WAVE Apparel is the brainchild of Northern Marianas College student Mathew Richardson who is active in water sports activities and promotes protection of the environment. (CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS)

Established earlier this month, WAVE Apparel promotes good vibes, a positive outlook in life, and taking care of the environment. The logo consists of three mini waves which symbolizes movement and ease.

According to founder Mathew Richardson, a student at Northern Mariana sCollege, WAVE Apparel consists of comfortable clothing that shows designs of how unique the ocean is and the beauty of marine life because the vision is all about the ocean and our love for it. “It is a brand that helps spread love from experiences and connection with our waters that allows us to see new things and reveal possibilities….WAVE Apparel makes you go out of our way to take time to enjoy the ocean where friendships are made and fun times are brought upon each other,” he said.

“WAVE Apparel is also about spending time with our family or friends and respecting how the ocean provides for our families—a good reminder not to overfish, and conserve our waters for future generations,” he added.

WAVE Apparel is for everyone—it doesn’t distinguish but inclusive. “Whether you love seeing sunsets on the beach, to free dive, or get in the action and fish, WAVE Apparel is for someone who enjoys being near, above, and under water. We want to see our customers enjoy our designs and of course feel comfortable doing the things they do,” Richardson said

Richardson is a hands-on businessman as he makes the unique designs on every WAVE Apparel. “Our designs are unique and on shirts which are currently available. We will be expanding our clothing line that aside from shirts, will also be selling long sleeves, different forms of jackets, and other similar clothing. They all have different designs that are always inspired by the ocean that hopefully would also inspire our customers to feel the best they can be,” he said.

“I wanted to start a clothing brand because I think it’s an easy way to spread and show design available at reasonable prizes. I’ve always considered myself to be somewhat artistic and I got it from my mom. I have always wanted to produce something which is enjoyable, yet very unique with design,” he added.
