PH Consulate to hold consular mission
Over a year since its last consular outreach, the Philippine Consulate General in Guam will once again hold a consular mission on Saipan, this time from March 18 to April 11, at the Sun Palace Hotel in Susupe.
The consular mission, which will be held in coordination with Philippine honorary consul to the CNMI Glicerio Arago, will be held from 8:30am to 4pm.
Biometrics and personal data capture for ePassport applications will be done according to the schedule prepared by the Philippine Honorary Consulate on Saipan. All ePassport applicants are reminded to check the list by contacting the following numbers: (670) 7893624; (670) 7893625; (670) 7893626; (670) 7893627; and (670) 7893628.
Due to the current health protocols being implemented on Saipan, the following shall be observed and implemented:
* Only applicants who have secured their appointment will be allowed at the venue, no escort(s), except for persons with disabilities and minor applicants;
* Applicants are advised to show up at the venue on the date and time indicated in the schedule;
* Wearing of mask and physical distancing will be strictly observed; and
* Passport applicants should wear proper attire (i.e., shirts with collar and sleeves) for data capture purposes.
For consular services, including passport renewal, that require civil registration documents (e.g. birth certificate and marriage certificate), only documents from the Philippines Statistics Authority or its predecessor, National Statistics Office, will be accepted.
Filipino nationals must keep their passports current as it is a required document for the work contracts. The Philippine Consulate General in Guam held its last consular mission on Saipan last March 5, 2020. (PR)
