Mobil gas prices increase 12 cents
Mobil Oil Marianas raised its fuel prices by another 12 cents yesterday afternoon. Shell Marianas is expected to follow suit shortly.

According to a Mobil employee who requested anonymity, its normal this time of year for fuel prices to rise. It is even expected since everyone is returning to work.
“Everyone is returning to work since COVID-19 kind of gave us a break. It’s no surprise anymore that gas prices are increasing again,” she said.
Because there has been an increase in the average international fuel oil prices, the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. was informed that effective Feb. 1, this would affect the fuel adjustment charge.
