Power outage on Monday

There will be a scheduled power service interruption on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, from 9am to 1pm in Garapan and China Town.

This will allow linemen of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. to safely replace deteriorated hardware on three primary power poles fronting Shirley’s Coffee Shop on Chalan Pale Arnold Road in Garapan.

This sectionalized outage on Feeder 1 (2nd Partial) and Feeder 3 will affect Garapan St., Alaihai Ave., Puti Tai Nobiu Ave., Filooris Ave., Bukiki Ave., Kalachucha Ave., Upper Miha Housings, and Imperial Pacific Resort, as well as Sugar King Rd., Executive Ct., Husga Ave., Ruler Ct., and President St. in China Town.

This will also affect the wastewater lift station S-4 and S-9 (no effect on CUC customers) and the China Town traffic light.
