There is currently an emergency water service interruption causing low pressure and will continue daily from 8:30am to 2pm until further notice for Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in the areas of Chalan Monsignor Martinez from Shell Dandan toward Koblerville near the ABCD Market, As Perdido Road, and Chalan Monsignor Martinez intersection east toward the GPPC Inc. main office and west toward the Division of Parks and Recreation and the Recycling Center.

The water service interruption is due to low tank level at the Dandan tank. CUC water operations personnel are currently performing leak detection within the affected areas for leaks that may be the cause of the low tank level. To help keep continued water service to the affected areas, CUC Water Operators will use the Kannat Tabla tank to help provide water service but low water pressure will still occur daily. Updates will follow as soon as they are available.

For more information, contact the CUC Hotline (236-4333) or monitor CUC’s Facebook page for the latest updates (https://www.facebook.com/CommonwealthUtilitiesCorporation/). (PR)
