McDonald’s recently made a check donation to the House of Maturana, which is not only a house of prayer but also serves as the retirement home for members of the Mercedarian Missionaries of Berriz.
McDonald’s owner/operator Marcia E. Ayuyu and her son, Joe E. Ayuyu Jr., who is vice president of McDonald’s Guam and Saipan, made the donation during a visit to the House of Maturana last Dec. 30, 2020. The amount of the donation was not disclosed.
“The Maturana sisters are in need of help for their daily necessities and we are aware of it, that is why we are here to help them,” said Marcia E. Ayuyu.
The Ayuyus handed over the check donation to Sr. Martha Ramarui, who said, “We are so grateful to people like Mrs. Ayuyu who are willing to help us. May God continue to bless their entire family.” (PR)
