Starting Dec. 21, Pacific Islands Club Saipan will start its Winter Camp for children ages 6 to 16 years old. Winter Camp is a program that aims to promote fun and skills development among children, promote independence, teamwork, build self-esteem, and ensure continued intellectual stimulation during the Christmas break.

“PIC is delighted to present a special Winter Camp to our community. We start on the 21st and it will run for a full two weeks or parents have the option to enroll their children for two or five days,” said PIC Sales & Marketing manager Katy Hung.

“Parents can rely that the Winter Program has a safe and engaging program that is an excellent source of recreation therapy for children. COVID-19 health and safety procedures are in place for all sessions,” she added.

The focus is skills development for children that will help them develop lifelong skills. “The program includes encouraging a connection with nature and surroundings, create works of art utilizing natural resources, and to enjoy physical aquatic activities in and around PIC,” Hung said.

The PIC Winter Camp is a good opportunity for kids to get immersed in the joy of playing, on their own and with other kids, as well as engage in well-structured activities like specific games and projects led by PIC Clubmates,” Hung added.

According to Hung, a day at Winter Camp is a full day starting at 9am. “After signing-in, we start camp at 9am where children will work on arts and crafts creation then followed by swimming and playing at the waterpark. After lunch, they can continue working on their artwork and go outdoors by playing archery, tennis and other kinds of sports games,” she said.

“After playing outdoor sports, they can jump back into the pool to get cooled down. The daily camp will finish at 5pm just in time for pick-up by parents,” she said.

Two-day enrolment is only $80/child or $100/child with lunch. Five-day enrolment is only $150/child or $200 with lunch. For more information and reservations, call (670) 234-7976 EXT. #2 or email:dennis.tababa@picsaipan.com.
