As Triple J’s Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store celebrates its first year anniversary this Sunday, Nov. 8, the home goods and grocery store will be partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation Guam/CNMI Chapter to continue to make dreams come true, especially this holiday season.
From now until Dec. 24, customers can purchase a Wish Star at $3 at the Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store and other business under the Triple J Group of companies—Triple J Motors, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and Great Harvest Bread Co.
Wish Star buyers can officially sign the Wish Star under the statement, “I help make wishes come true!” Now more than ever, Make-A-Wish Foundation Guam/CNMI Chapter remains committed to delivering hope to wish kids and their families despite unprecedented changes 2020 has brought forth. All proceeds collected will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation during the Christmas season.
Aside from the tie up with the nonprofit that helps fulfill the wishes of children with a critical illness, Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store is also giving back to the community by offering customers multiple opportunities to save on purchases and win prizes this coming weekend.
For instance, the popular Grab N’ Go section will offer $1 bites, plus additional mark downs, and in-store giveaways. Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store is also encouraging all customers to enter a raffle for multiple chances to win awesome prizes. The raffle prizes include a two-night stay at the Surfrider Resort Hotel with complimentary breakfast for two, a NexGrill 29” Charcoal Grill and Smoker, a Survival Camping Stand Up Paddle Board, and a 65” Samsung UHD Curved TV. Best of all, there is no purchase necessary to enter. For more information visit Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store on Facebook or ask a customer service representative. Stop in the store on Sunday, Nov. 8, 3pm for the announcement of raffle winners.
“This year has undoubtedly been uncommon to the say the least. We’ve learned a lot through trials and tribulation, but the one common thread we keep coming back to is—inafa’maolek – yipiyeew—meaning we are in this together. Our customers are in the forefront of our minds in all that we do, and this is why for our anniversary we want to share our gratitude with fun giveaways as well as support a longtime partner—the Make-A-Wish Foundation—in their efforts to give love and support those in most need within our community,” said Triple J Five Star Wholesale general manager Jay Santos.
Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store general manager Morgan Carrico is proud of what the store has accomplished in just one year of existence. “Just a year ago we opened our doors offering customers a wider variety of the freshest produce on island, a first-of-its-kind Butcher Shop featuring Certified Angus Beef and a dedicated dairy and deli selection. I am proud we’ve accomplished these goals and more with community partnerships like Karidat Social Services, Inas’ Kitchen, Tropical Gardens, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to name a few. The island community is so closely knit, and we are grateful to be a contributing partner.” (PR)
