The Saipan Unity Lions Club and Saipan Teen Unity Leo’s Club collaborated on the morning of Halloween, Oct. 31, 2020, for a beach cleanup at the club’s adopted site, the Tanapag Beach.

The activity drew the participation of 22 SULC Lion members and four STULC Leo members, who all managed to fill a total of nine trash bags.

After the beach cleanup, the SULC and STULC members headed to the Santa Remedios Church, which is also located in Tanapag, to distribute 50 bags of school supplies to the church’s CCD students. Each school bag contained notebooks, pencils, crayons, rulers, and even candy, making this their Spooky Halloween Treats given by the Saipan Unity Lions Club.

Both activities were led by SULC president Alicia Barbo, Lion’s Club first vice district governor Atoy Banting, and Leo president Vicky Ancheta. (PR)
