SCS students do well at NJSDA

Saipan Community School students gave a good account of themselves at the recent National Junior Speech & Debate Association competition. Below are the SCS students that placed:

• Soledad Sablan for placing first in Poetry Masters, second in Storytelling A, and first in Duos with Lola Guerrero

• Sheryne Yang for placing third in Impromptu, third in Storytelling A and fifth in Poetry Masters

• Hilah Bacani for placing second in Dramatic Interpretation and third in Poetry Masters

• Lola Guerrero for placing second in Poetry Masters and first in Duos with Soledad Sablan

• Alfred JunHo Baek for placing second in Humorous Interpretation

• Kassidy Camacho for placing third in Poetry and fifth in Storytelling A

• David Park for placing first in Prose, second in Impromptu, and second in Poetry

• JeongBin Celine Park for placing first in Dramatic Interpretation, first in Impromptu, and first in Poetry

• Joan JunHee Song for placing third in Prose

• Hannah Chae for placing fifth in Poetry, and fourth in Storytelling A

• Joshua Yoo for placing fourth in Poetry, second in Prose, and first in Humorous Interpretation

• Gabriela Bark for placing third in Humorous Interpretation and fourth in Prose A
