Shriners Hospitals for Children host outreach clinics on Saipan

In collaboration with the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., Shriners Hospitals for Children – Honolulu will conduct outreach clinics at the CHCC Children’s Clinic, on Nov. 2 (Monday), 5 (Thursday), and 6 (Friday).

The Shriners Hospital of Honolulu has satellite clinics throughout the state of Hawaii and islands in the Pacific Basin. The CHCC Children’s Clinic serves as a Shriners Hospital satellite clinic for the residents of the CNMI.

To qualify for care through Shriners Hospitals for Children, the patient must be under the age of 18 and has an orthopedic condition that can be treated. Orthopedic conditions that have been treated by Shriners include:

• Scoliosis
• Clubfeet
• Foot pain and problems
• Hip Dysplasia
• Hand pain and problems
• Knee and joint pains
• Cerebral Palsy
• Musculoskeletal conditions.
• Syndromes associated with musculoskeletal disorders

For new patients, an intake form must be completed prior to scheduling an appointment. Care is provided to the child regardless of the family’s ability to pay, and there will be no co-pay or facility fee charged to patients for evaluations and consultations with Shriners providers. However, there may be charges incurred for other services, such as ultrasounds, x-rays, and CT scans.

Shriners Hospitals for Children aims to provide the highest quality care for orthopedic and neuromuscular disorders and conditions.
