Parents can take a back seat, relax, or concentrate on their work as they can get the help they need in making sure their child is active, learning, and developing even at a young age at Loving Hands Daycare Center in San Antonio and its new branch called Loving Hands Kindergarten and Enrichment Center in Koblerville.

Despite of the COVID-19 pandemic, owner Dhez Javier took courage in opening making both centers operational while following strict health and safety protocols. “I have this deep desire to make a positive difference in children’s lives. Loving Hands is a great place for children to meet other children of the same age and others may be younger or older but the child will be interacting with them on a day to day basis, which can help in the child’s development before formal school,” she said.

“I opened Loving Hands Daycare Center in 2007 and in 2016, we expanded to Loving Hands Kindergarten and Enrichment Center… parents can be assured that we are compliant with the health and safety protocols of the Centers and Disease Control and Prevention,” she added.

The various activities that are in place for both Loving Hands branches include infant and toddlers program, pre-school program, and after-school program. “We do not only take care of the child but we also have various activities and programs for the children. These programs will help the child to learn various educational concepts at a young age,” Javier said.

Young children indulge in various activities and are taught good hygiene skills especially during the pandemic.

“Children who start going to Loving Hands may find it easier to adjust when they set foot to formal schooling environment. Children have been exposed to other children their age, they learn to follow a schedule, they enjoy different learning activities that makes transitioning to formal schooling easier for them,” Javier said

As for slots, Javier said that they currently have limited slots. “Since the classroom occupancy is at 50%, we are have limited slots as of now. But as soon as the governor makes any changes to the Community Vulnerability Level like increase in occupancy, we will comply with that and open more slots.”

“We value every child that is under our care and that is why we are enforcing social distancing, wearing of masks, washing of hands and sanitizing high touch things and items in the classrooms,” Javier added.

Both Loving Hands branches are open from Monday to Friday, 7am-6pm. For more information, call Loving Hands Daycare in San Antonio at (670) 235-0611 or Loving Hands Kindergarten and Enrichment Center at (670) 288-1004 or check them out on Facebook.
