The Northern Mariana Islands College Sport, a committee under the Northern Marianas Sports Association, in partnership with the Northern Marianas College and FISU Oceania is calling all college student-athletes to post photos or videos of them playing sports for a chance to win several prizes.

The photo/video competition is held as the CNMI joins other FISU (Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire) members in celebrating the International Day of University Sports. FISU designated Sept. 20 as International Day of University Sports, but the Northern Mariana Islands College Sport and NMC are observing a week-long celebration.

Besides the video/photo contests, college student-athletes can also compete in the basketball free throw challenge and soccer juggling. Participants must post a video of their free throw shooting and soccer juggling at the Northern Mariana Islands College Sport’s Facebook or Instagram accounts. The player with the most free throws made in one minute wins, while the athlete that juggles the soccer ball the longest (maximum of one minute) prevails. Winners will get Yeti waterbottle, Hydroflask waterbottle, Garmin watch, wireless headphones, basketball, soccer ball, yoga mats, and others. Interested participants have only until tomorrow (11:59pm), Sept. 25, to submit their entries.
