Just in time for the rainy season, BAB Korean Restaurant has added soup dishes to complement the delicious rice topping dishes it continues to offer through its drive-thru service.
Restaurant manager Lotesa Ferrer said they have added Galbi Soup and Kimchi Soup to their successful CUP BAB offerings. “[The] rainy season is upon us and what better way to welcome the relatively cold weather than have a cup of piping hot soup. Our customers have also been asking us for our soup dishes in our drive-thru counter.”
In addition to the two new soup dishes, BAB Korean Restaurant has also started offering Kimchi Fried Rice due to popular demand.
“Before, customers will go to our drive-thru and ask for Kimchi Fried Rice. Of course, we had to cook it from scratch and it took us around 10 minutes. But now, since it’s part of our menu, it’s readily available for our loyal customers to enjoy,” she said.
Galbi Soup costs $8, while Kimchi Soup is priced at $7. Kimchi Fried Rice, which includes fried dumplings and fried eggs, is $6.

The new additions to the menu join the original Cup BAB lineup that includes Original BAB ($5), Volcano BAB ($5), Ugly Pop BAB ($6), Squid BAB ($6), Shake BAB ($6), Combo BAB ($7), Tteok ($6), Dak-Gangjeong or sweet and sour chicken ($6), K-Noodles ($5), Mandoo ($3), LA-BBQ BAB ($8), Pork-BBQ BAB ($7), and Ocean BAB ($7).
“All our dishes are cooked on the spot and are always fresh. They’re all affordable and remain tasty as ever. Our service also continues to be top notch,” said Ferrer.
BAB Korean Restaurant also has a slew of refreshing drinks that include Hawaiian iced tea, cinnamon/ginger tea, and iced coffee. Soda and bottled water are also available.
Ferrer said that their Hawaiian iced tea has developed quite a following such that some customers would line up at their drive-thru counter just to order the $2 drink.

Another good news is that BAB Korean Restaurant has an ongoing promotion where a $20 purchase entitles customers to free fried dumplings that normally cost $5. They also accept add-ons to their CUP BAB offerings with a cup of kimchi costing $2, double meat $3, and additional short ribs $3.
For those hosting parties or have large families, BAB Korean Restaurant’s platters are for you. Platters should be ordered in advance (one hour before pick up) and come in two offerings—BBQ Deluxe Platter and Japchae Platter. The BBQ Deluxe Platter costs $50 and includes short ribs and barbecue pork, while the Japchae Platter comes in three variants that costs $20, $25, and $30 with the latter switching fish cake with beef bulgogi.
Ferrer said they’ve also extended their hours, as the drive-thru counter is now open from 10am to 8pm, up an hour from the previous 10:30am to 7:30pm. BAB Korean Restaurant also reminds customers that they accept credit cards.
