Water service outage on Friday; power outage next week

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there will be a scheduled water service interruption for customers in the areas of As Lito, As Perdido, and Koblerville (from St. Jude Church to the ABCD Market in Kobler) and Tottotville. Water service interruption is scheduled this Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, from 8am to 4pm.
CUC water operators will be performing two waterline leak repairs on Chalan Monsignor Martinez Road near the Taiwan Building and Green Consume Market in As Lito. Water service to the affected areas will resume soon after.
For the safety of the men and women at the job site, CUC urges the public to exercise caution when traveling through the waterline repair sites on Chalan Monsignor Martinez Road or to take an alternative route if necessary.
Power outage Tuesday next week
There will be a scheduled power interruption for a portion of Garapan on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, from 9am to 1pm. As CUC continues its ongoing system maintenance, there will be scheduled power interruptions to de-energize utility lines such that CUC linemen are able to safely replace a rotted and burnt three-phase primary power pole in the affected area.
Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take an alternate route or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.
