On Saturday, April 4, 2020, at about 7:17am, the CNMI Department of Public Safety received a 911 call reporting a burglary and theft incident at the I Love Saipan pop-up store in Chalan Lau Lau. Police were dispatched to the scene.

At the scene, officers met with the caller who is an employee of the company. The individual led police to the upper floor where the staff office is located. Upon entering the office police noticed scattered items and a broken window. The employee told police that they had come earlier to open the office and immediately noticed items on the office floor and the broken window. They called their manager and 911 for police assistance. During that time the staff were asked to take a quick inventory of the office and note down any items that were missing. The missing item reported is a blue Samsung digital camera.
