Reburial of remains found at Surfrider

The CNMI Historic Preservation Office, in partnership with Triple J Saipan, Inc., will hold the reinterment of 36 ancestral remains in the village of Araiao, Saipan located on the grounds of the Surfrider Resort Hotel.
The reburial will commence with a formal departure of the remains from the CNMI State Historic Preservation Office at 8:30am today, Aug. 14, 2020, and will be laid to rest on the grounds of the Surfrider Resort Hotel. The event is open for public attendance. (PR)
