Jeju SamDaSoo donated 1,000 bottled water cases to the Saipan Mayor’s Office yesterday with the help of Young’s Wholesale.

The bottled water is for the hardworking staff of the Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force in the CNMI. According to Mayor David M. Apatang, he would like to thank this generous gesture for the islands’ front-liners.

The 1,000 bottled water cases came from Jeju SamDaSoo with the help of Young’s Wholesale. Young’s Wholesale is the exclusive distributor of Jeju SamDaSoo in the CNMI.

According to Hoon Ahn, president of Young’s Wholesale, Jeju SamDaSoo, a government-owned company in South Korea, has been supplying water in the CNMI for more than 10 years.

“We hope all of this will help all our workers in the COVID-19 task force. We support all efforts in the CNMI,” Ahn added.

Apatang said that they will be contacting the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., Department of Public Safety, and Division of Customs to make arrangements to pick up the bottled water cases from Young’s Wholesale as well as from the mayor’s office.

“I want to thank the Jeju SamDaSoo and Young’s Wholesale for helping us out in the community, and their generous donation to help out our COVID-19 task force,” said Apatang. (Chevy Alipio)
