Hosted by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, the “Small Business Open Townhall Forum” is taking place today, Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 4pm to 6pm at Hyatt Regency Saipan ballroom.

The Chamber has invited the heads of the Torres administration, CNMI House of Representatives, CNMI Senate, the COVID-19 Task Force, and the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors to hear directly from small businesses about their experiences through the COVID-19 economic downturn.

The format of the forum will be “public comment” style, where small businesses will have three minutes to share their thoughts and concerns with guests.

Registration is open to all small business owners and employees, both Chamber members and non-members alike. Registration is limited to one representative per business due to limitations of capacity and social distancing. Participation is open to the first 50 small businesses that register at this link: tinyurl.com/scctownhall.

For more information on the forum or other SCC events, visit its office in the Marianas Business Plaza Room, Suite 315 (Susupe), or contact Maxine Laszlo at 670-234-7150 or via email at executive@saipanchamber.com. (PR)
