The Saipan World Resort has again extended its Meals To Go promotion and, starting today will make it available for dine-in at its newly reopened Oasis Book Lounge.

Meals To Go was supposed to be just a limited-run promotion, said Mike Babauta, SWR’s Local Sales & Marketing manager, but the demand has been so great since they started it in June that they’ve extended again and now is even offering a dine-in option.

“We have revamped some menus and kept our popular ones. Plus, we will offer light snacks, sweets, and beverages from 11am to 4pm at our Oasis Book Lounge,” he said in an interview with Saipan Tribune.

Prior to reopening the Oasis Book Lounge, customers ordering the Meals To Go promotion used to pick them up via drive-thru at the entrance of SWR’s Wave Jungle attraction.

Meals To Go packages come in two sizes—super size and regular size. The former is only for $10 and includes the SL (super-size local) set made up of Hawaiian poke, green salad, tuna sashimi, chicken wing, crispy prawn, and fried rice. The SJ (super-size Japanese) set consists of Japanese pickle, egg roll, umeboshi, California roll, inari sushi, shrimp tempura, and grilled pike fish.

The $8 regular Meals To Go has five sets that include anything from stir-fried sliced pork to shrimp tempura, to tuna sashimi, to chicken afritada, to poached sea scallop with meatballs.

Just some of the light snacks offered at Oasis are red bean Danish, powder sugar donut with chocolate ganache dip, macaroons, pizza toasts, and ham and cheese sandwich.

And if you’re into sweets, you can also indulge in SWR’s signature cakes like their heart cake, dark chocolate cake, cloud cake, cheese cake, and white cream cake. All are available at Oasis Book Lounge for take-out and dine-in.

To celebrate the reopening of the Oasis Book Lounge, dine-in customers who purchase a Meals To Go bento or a full set of snacks get a free cup of coffee or iced tea, plus use of the outlet’s always popular board games.

Those who wish to have some work done will also be pleased to know that SWR has free Wi-Fi at the Oasis Book Lounge.

As far as COVID-19 safety measures are concerned, Babauta said Oasis Book Lounge can only have room for 54 customers (its original capacity is 108) and all guests will have their temperatures checked before being allowed inside the resort, be required to wear marks, and should strictly follow directional arrows inside the outlet. Hand sanitizers are also readily available for guests at strategic points of the Oasis Book Lounge.

Oasis Book Lounge is located on the north wing of SWR and entrance is through the hotel lobby. Oasis Book Lounge is open on weekdays from 11am to 4pm. For more information, to order or preorder, or to reserve seats, call 234-5900 ext. 398.
