4.6-magnitude quake in the CNMI

At 2:14am on July 18, 2020, a report of a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred at 19.937°N 147.606°E Mariana Islands region, Northern Mariana Islands. Currently, there are no tsunami advisories or warnings issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. For more information contact the CNMI State Warning Point at 670-237-8000. (PR)

6.5-magnitude quake in Tonga

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.5 occurred in the Tonga Islands at 1:33am on Sunday July 19 2020. Based on all available data, there is no tsunami threat to Guam, Rota, Tinian, or Saipan from this earthquake. (PR)
