July 12 is deadline to file income tax

BARRIGADA, Guam—The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation is reminding all taxpayers—individuals, trusts, estates, corporations, and other non-corporate tax filers—that the deadline to file and pay any tax due for their 2019 Guam Income Tax Return is Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  

Editor’s Note: The CNMI Division of Revenue and Taxation has the same deadline.

DRT reminds taxpayers that servicing has been adjusted so that the department can adhere to the governor’s mandates prescribed in Pandemic Condition of Readiness 2. Taxpayers who arrive at the DRT Barrigada location will be guided to enter and exit the building by DRT officials.  

Online filing options
DRT encourages taxpayers to take advantage of the following online options:
Online Form 1040 filing for eligible taxpayers.  (Review the 1040 E-filing help section of our website at www.myguamtax.com for eligibility); and 
Online filing of individual income tax extensions.

Filing with payment
Taxpayers making a payment (whether full or partial) upon filing of their income tax return may make payments with their returns at the following locations:
• Treasurer of Guam cashier – DRT Main Office Barrigada
• Collection Branch – DRT Main Office Barrigada
• DRT Drop Box (payments by check only) – DRT Main Office Barrigada
• Treasurer of Guam cashier – ITC Building, Tamuning
• Treasurer of Guam cashier – DPW Business License Permit Center

Filing without payment
• DRT Main Office Barrigada 8am to 5pm 
• DRT Drop Box
• By U.S.P.S.
