The CNMI Department of Labor will hold a virtual webinar on Pandemic Unemployment Assistance and Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation this Thursday, July 9, 2020, from 9am to 10am via Zoom and streamed live on the CNMI Office of the Governor’s Facebook page.

Press secretary Kevin Bautista and Saipan Chamber of Commerce executive director Maxine Laszlo will be the meeting’s guest moderators.

The virtual webinar will provide another step-by-step guidance on completing PUA and FPUC applications, as well as answer commonly-asked-questions regarding the PUA and FPUC portal and application process.

For those planning to join the Zoom meeting, pre-registration is required. Pre-register at https://tinyurl.com/CNMIPUAWebinar2.

Registration to the Zoom meeting is limited to the first 100 participants that are able to join. Therefore, CNMI DOL will be streaming this virtual conference live on Facebook through the Office of the Governor Facebook Page, and encourage individuals to watch via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/GovernorCNMI/.

CNMI DOL has upgraded its hiremarianas.com portal, a Virtual One-Stop System used by DOL’s Workforce Investment Agency to register, track, and manage its clients, and to incorporate the modules needed for PUA/FPUC functions. The system is used both regionally and nationally and has advanced security measures with a strong focus on data confidentiality, availability, and integrity.
