COTA resumes Call-A-Ride service

The Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority will resume its Call-A-Ride Saipan/Demand Response Shared Ride Service beginning Monday, June 22, 2020.
To make a reservation, call COTA’s One Call/One Click Transportation Information Resource Center two days in advance at (670) 664-2690.
COTA’s hours of operation are as follows: Monday to Friday:  6:30am-7pm; Saturday, Sundays, and holidays: 6:3am- 4pm.

CDD, UCEDD, NMPASI services

The CNMI’s Tri-Agency partner—the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities, University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, and the Northern Marianas Protection & Advocacy Systems, Inc. or NMPASI—more popularly known by their acronyms as CDD, UCEDD, and NMPASI, continue to make their respective services available to the public but within the scope and parameters of directives regarding COVID-19 and preventative measures.
As much as possible, initiate contact with these offices remotely (via telephone, email, etc.) or adhere to general preventative measures as directed (including but not limited to wearing face masks and social distancing guidelines) when visiting any of these offices. Note that the UCEDD office (on the NMC campus) is currently not able to take walk-ins or accept visitors on-site until further notice; however, staff are available remotely via any of the contact information as listed below:

CPA sets new airport procedures

Effective today, June 18, 2020, the Commonwealth Ports Authority has set the following departure drop-off and arrival pick-up procedures for the Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport. There will be no waiting allowed at the terminal.
FOR DEPARTURES:
• Only departure drop-offs allowed.
• Only ticketed passengers or those needing assistance will be allowed inside the Departure Terminal.
• Passenger “farewells” could be done either upon drop-off or in the main parking lot.
FOR ARRIVALS:
• Drive-thru pick-ups only.
• People waiting to pick up a passenger must wait in the main parking lot. (PR)

MHS report card distribution

Marianas High School will have its report card distribution until June 24, 2020. Report cards may be picked up at the main office Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 4:30pm.  If you wish to have your child’s report card emailed, send your request to melanie.sablan@cnmipss.org or christine.tudela@cnmipss.org. You are also welcome to call in your request at 237-3202. (PR)

Medicaid Office updates business hours

Beginning Monday, June 22, 2020, the CNMI State Medicaid Agency office will be accepting walk-in clients on Monday-Thursday, from 7:30am to 12pm. The use of masks and social distancing will be strictly enforced for the health and safety of all clients.
Medicaid would also like to remind the public that clients can still drop off their applications via the drop box located at their Capital Hill office and new/returning applicants can pick up all application forms right next to the drop-box or on their website
