Caged bird

Twitter, Twitter, my friends are singing,

Swish, Swish, wind is accompanying,

Ling, Ling, flowers are dancing,

Only me, Imprisoned in a cage.

Master always tells me:

There is a monster outside the cage

But they

Are playing with each other happily

If happiness comes at a cost,

I am willing to pay,

Please, Please,

Don’t lock me in the cage,

Alone…

I want to hug the sky,

But I cannot,

I want to hear the world,

But I cannot,

I want to thank the sun,

For giving me warmness,

But I cannot,

I want to fly back to my hometown,

But I cannot.

“Go to sleep.”

My master says.

In my dreams,

I saw my mother, and my sister.

I could not fly at first.

I practiced everyday,

But I failed every time.

Finally, my mother and my sister give up me,

They fly away…

They left me,

Alone…

I still wanted to fly in the blue sky,

I practiced, I failed, I fell onto the floor,

I sang, I danced, I tried to make myself happy,

But I’m lonely…

Finally, I can fly high in the sky,

I can sing with my friend,

But,

My master caught me,

And took me home,

I thought that was the beginning of my well-being,

It’s NOT…
