Dock’s user fee waived in June
The Division of Fish and Wildlife is waiving the nonresident user fee for the Smiling Cove Transient Dock for the month of June. The division will resume assessing a $3 per head user fee for all nonresident users of the Smiling Cove Transient Dock beginning July 1, 2020. (PR)

CHamoru commission meeting set
The Kumisión i Fino’ CHamoru yan i Fina’nå’guen i Historia yan i Lina’la’ iTaotao Tåno’ (Commission on CHamoru Language and the Teaching of theHistory and Culture of the Indigenous People of Guam) will hold its monthly meeting on June 4, 2020, Thursday, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at the Guam Museum conference room, in Hågatña. US Navy trainings set
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Warning Area 11, Warning Area 12, and Warning Area 517 on June 2 from 10am to 2am. Marine vessels are requested to remain clear of the area for the duration of the event. 

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Dandan-Malojloj and Radio Barrigada until June 6, from 2pm to 10pm. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity due to the training. 

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Agat Bay and Outer Apra Harbor until June 6, from 2pm to 10pm. The public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire exercises in open ocean until June 6, from 2pm to 10pm at the following coordinates: 13˚26’’N/145˚08’’E, 13˚42’’N/144˚36’’E.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area by five nautical miles for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories. 

The U.S. Navy will also conduct live fire training in Warning Area 517 on June 3-4, from 2pm to 10pm. Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories. 

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Outer Apra Harbor on June 4-6 from midnight to 11:55pm. The public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will also conduct exercises in the vicinity of Outer Apra Harbor on June 4 from 9am to 3pm. The public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire exercises in Warning Area 13 and Farallon de Medinilla on June 5-7, from 10am to 2am. Marine vessels are advised to remain clear 12 nautical miles around Farallon de Medinilla for the duration of this event. 

These trainings support readiness and are critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific. (PR)
