Scheduled water service interruption today
There will be a scheduled water service interruption today, May 25, 2020, from 9am to 1pm in Papago, San Vicente, Dandan, and Obyan. The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. will be repairing a leak on a service lateral on Isa Drive across the Lao Lao Bay Road. Water service to the affected areas will resume after. However, the Obyan area will resume on water scheduled hours daily from 1pm to 3pm.
For the safety of the men and women at the jobsite, motorists are advised to take alternative routes or proceed with caution when passing the westbound shoulder lane.
CUC urges customers in these areas to fill up their back up water storage tanks and continue to practice water conservation during the dry season.

4.9-magnitude quake hits Agrihan
At 9:12am on May 22 2020, a report of a 4.9-magnitude earthquake occurred 45 kilometers east-southeast of Agrihan in the Northern Marianas. Currently, there are no tsunami warnings or advisories that were issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. (PR)
4.5-magnitude temblor on Pagan
At 11:15pm, May 18, 2020, a report of a 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred 65 km south-southwest of Pagan in the Northern Marianas. Currently, there are no tsunami warnings issued by PTWC. (PR)
Merizo quake at 4.7-magnitude
At 9:42pm, May 19, 2020, a report of a 4.7-magnitude earthquake occurred 122 km west-southwest of Merizo Village, Guam. Currently, there are no tsunami warnings issued by PTWC. (PR)
Free federal contracting webinars
The Guam Procurement Technical Assistance Center is offering free webinars every Tuesday and Thursday in May. Webinars run from 10am to 11am and will be conducted via Zoom.
