Emergency water and wastewater service interruptions

There is an emergency water service interruption for Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in the area of Simion Olopai Street in Chalan Kanoa (across the U.S. Postal Office) due to a 6-inch waterline break.
CUC was notified of the leak on this street yesterday at 7:23am. Water service to the affected area has been isolated and repairs to the mainline are scheduled for today, Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Repairs are anticipated to be completed at 4:30pm later. Water services to the affected area will resume after.
Also, there is an emergency wastewater service interruption for CUC customers in the areas of Lower Base, Tanapag, Achugao, San Roque, As Matuis and Marpi.
This is due to an 8-inch force main break located on Santa Remedios Drive in Lower Base near the Tanapag Cemetery. Repairs to the force main are scheduled for today, May 19, 2020, and is expected to be done by 4pm. Wastewater services to the affected areas will resume after.
