16 vie for 2014 Miss Marianas Teen Pageant
The 16 beauties who will compete in this year’s Miss Marianas Teen Pageant were officially presented to the public on Saturday at the Naked Fish Bar and Cafe in Susupe.
Organized by Stellar Marianas, the teen pageant candidates will be taking their first steps to becoming the 2014 Miss Marianas Teen in July.
The candidates are Maria Theresa Dizon, Nemerlyn Magat, Marcelyn Castro, Aiko Enungel, Sheena Serrano, Chelsea Fama, Renita Fleming, Allysha Lloren, Gianna Camacho, Tiana Reyes, Emmalou Cabrera, Lynette Vasquez, Savannah Delos Santos, Aurora David, Jacklyn Garote, and Michelle Faller.
These contestants will receive a Stellar Marianas beauty bag, hair and makeup training sessions, nutrition and fitness training, model portfolio, media interview and public speaking training sessions opening number outfit and fitness wear from Stellar Marianas.
This year, the contestants will compete in a “Fun Fashion” competition, where they will design their own outfits, talent night competition, and fitness wear competition.
The winner will win a crown, trophy, sash and flowers, $1,000 in cash, all-expense-paid travel opportunity to compete at Miss Teen International, all-expense-paid travel opportunities, a brand new smartphone, one-year supply of beauty products, one-year gym membership and personal trainer, one-year use of a personal stylist and manicurist, a professional model portfolio, four-piece luggage set from Stellar Marianas, and opportunity to create and implement a community project under their name assisted by Stellar Marianas.
“The contestants will be doing a lot of activities. Recently, they assisted the carnival at the American Red Cross walkathon. They will be doing other activities for Flame Tree Festival, Taste of the Marianas, and PIC 5K Run,” community event director Shirley Sablan said.
Stellar Marianas president Laila Boyer noted that the contestant will be in other events as well as community outreaches.
