To our Micronesian family

We would like to thank you all for your heartfelt compassion and kindness. The past several months have been very difficult for our family. My beloved wife, Irene, has prolonged health setbacks and I have recently been diagnosed with advanced cancer. We have been lifted up time and again by the well wishes and prayers from family and friends from Saipan and Micronesia. While facing these serious health challenges, we are humbled by this outpouring of love and concern.
Please know that Irene and I as well as our children will always be grateful for your prayers. We are incredibly blessed to have had so many wonderful friends during our 40 years living in Micronesia.
Being a long-time resident, I still follow the local news and keep in touch with dear friends on Saipan. My heart goes out to everyone that is struggling as we face challenging times with this pandemic. We all will certainly endure this challenge and come back stronger than ever.
