MHS dates to remember

– April 16: 3rd Quarter Report Card will be distributed to students during the first period.

– April 16: Last day for students to sign up for Summer School

– April 17 – 22: Spring Break

– April 23: DPH annual flu vaccination campaign. Students can take advantage of free flu shots. A signed parent consent form is required.

– April 26: Junior-Senior “Vintage Prom” at Saipan World Resort

– April 28 – May 2: SAT-10 Testing (9th and 11th grade students are tested)

– May 2: Student Service Learning hours due (turn in to respective counselors)

– May 8: 4th Quarter Mid-Progress Reports in the gym from 4pm to 6pm

– May 7 – 16: Advanced placement testing

Free business training on Tinian today

The Small Business Development Center will be conducting a free business training seminar today, April 11, 2014, on Tinian. The topic is “Customer Service for Small Business Owners. It will be held at Room D of Tinian’s Northern Marianas College, from 10am to 12pm. It will be presented by Small Business Development Center director Perry Inos Jr. Walk-ins are allowed and granted on space availability. The CNMI Small Business Development Center is partially funded by a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. (PR)

MINA, Hyatt sets tree planting

Join the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance and Hyatt Regency Saipan on Earth Day, April 22. SVES registration for kindergarten

San Vicente Elementary School registration for school year 2014-2015 is scheduled to begin on May 27-30, 2014, for kindergarten only from 9am through 11:30am in the school’s main office. Child must be 5 years on or before Sept. 30, 2009, as per BOE policy. For more information, call 664-3981. (PR)
