DOCOMO Pacific joins GNOC, Olympic hopefuls in inspiring community message

TAMUNING, Guam—DOCOMO Pacific, regional leader in innovation, telecommunications, and entertainment, in their capacity as official telecommunications sponsor of the Guam National Olympic Committee) and Team Guam for the Summer Olympic Games has released a series of video messages to inspire the community through this time of great change.

As an official sponsor, DOCOMO PACIFIC will be helping in the continuing development of Guam’s athletes and their Olympic dreams through the Guam National Olympic Committee. Sports play a huge role in our island’s community. Sports, specifically the Olympic Games, unites the U.S. territory, fosters character, teaches respect for others, and calls Guamanians forward in the pursuit of excellence. 

DOCOMO Pacific is honored to help Guam’s athletes in their dream to compete in the Olympics and promote the island’s culture as well. On March 24, 2020, the IOC made the official decision to delay the Summer Olympics in light of the global pandemic.

DOCOMO Pacific recently aired three TV commercials featuring three Olympic hopefuls, Jacinta Sumagaysay (weightlifting) and Mia-Lahnee and Rckaela Aquino (wrestling), as well as Guam’s cultural ambassadors Inetnon Gefpå’Go. The key message is that their time to showcase their strength with the world is coming, but they will rise together as DOCOMO Pacific shows support by staying safe, staying healthy, and supporting each other.
