On Friday, April 10, 2020, at about 12:10pm, the CNMI Department of Public Safety received a call reporting a stolen generator from an apartment building in the village of San Vicente. A patrol unit was dispatched to the scene.

At about 12:37pm, the patrol unit arrived at the scene and met with the caller, who stated that the apartment building’s generator had been stolen from the main floor. The caller stated that they checked on the generator about a week ago and everything was still in place and secured. When they checked on the generator that afternoon, it was already missing.

The generator was described as a 6500-watt, orange-and-black, Generac brand. If you know someone who has recently obtained a similar generator to what had been reported, do not hesitate to call 911. If you would like to remain anonymous call the CNMI Crime Stoppers hotline at 234-7272. (PR)
