Saipan’s favorite Thai and American food place has launched an online service on Face that makes it easier for customers to order their take-out food. Just look for “Tom Yum Restaurant On-Line Service” and add it to your network.

The page informs customers of current menu choices, prices, and once one is ready to order, they can place their menu or phone in orders at (670) 488-2963, (670) 285-5943, and (670) 989-5165 for take-out.

“This is in line with the Second Amended Executive Order 2020-04 signed by Gov. Ralph Torres last Monday where restaurants are to suspend dine-in services but offer take-out service,” said Tom Yum manager Natalia Gvan.

“We want to be accessible to our customers and be of service to them even in these times. We continue to do business and indeed it is an uneasy time for us but we are here, ready to serve with the same quality of food,” Gvan added.

Tom Yum Restaurant has also adjusted operating hours. They are now open daily from 10am to 9 pm. “ Aside from Thai and American dishes, our menu includes Mexican and Italian dishes and we serve all every day. We also accommodate individual customer’s requests,” Gvan said.

“As for safety, we are mindful of that. Our chefs and servers wear masks and gloves. When they pick-up the food, we offer customers disinfecting wipes,” Gvan added.

Tom Yum Restaurant was established in August last year and in an earlier interview, the restaurant is the ‘baby’ of longtime friends Gvan and Phannee Regen. “We are just simple housewives and we met because we pick up our children that goes to the same school. One time we had this agreement that we can be better, follow [our[ passions,” she said.

“I’m sure in every woman there is always a drive inside her to become better… somedays you wake up thinking what you have accomplished and what you want to accomplish… Phannee and I wanted to stand out and this is our opportunity to see how far we can go,” she added.

Tom Yum Restaurant is located at the ground floor of Paradise Hotel along Middle Road.
