The Emon Masonic Lodge 179 on Saipan installed a new set of officers last Saturday at the Royal Taga Hall of the Saipan World Resort in Susupe, with Joel Subang taking the reins as the group’s leader.

Also inducted were Leo P. Candeo as senior warden, Marvin Deocariza as junior warden, Romeo D. Malasarte as the secretary, Wilfredo G. Ching as treasurer, and Daniel E. Banez as the auditor.

The appointed officers are Valentin T. Bolivar, Arnel A. Metran, Raul V. Abordonado, Christopher B. Manalo, Peter R. Cristostomo, Bobby Nelson S. Baldazo, Arvin Ian S. Sales, Eugene Morris, Fernando E. Enano, Monico T. Usi, Elias C. Buenaventura, Wendell M. Posadas, and Noel Ordas.

The organization mostly does charity work and helping the community. One of the recent projects is a bus stop in As Lito. Next up is a project to fix the clock at the top of Mount Carmel Cathedral that was destroyed by Super Typhoon Yutu.
