CUC sets water outages on Monday, Tuesday
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has scheduled two water service interruptions on Feb. 24 and 25.
On Monday, the water service interruption will affect CUC customers along Isa Drive from Sara Market in Capitol Hill to the Kagman Mobil gas station, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Customers in the affected areas should expect restoration of water services soon after.
The water service interruption will to allow CUC’s water operations personnel to perform repairs on a damaged 8-inch water mainline. As a result of the waterline repair, a more reliable water system will be provided to the community.
In the Tuesday water service interruption, it will affect the areas of Garapan Hotel Street, Lower Miha Housing, Chalan Pale Arnold Road (Middle Road) from CHCC to the Gualo Rai traffic light and from the American Memorial Park to Marianas Eye Institute on Beach Road from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Customers in the affected areas should expect restoration of water services soon after.
This will allow CUC’s water operations personnel to perform repairs on a damaged 2-inch waterline located near the Tun Kiku Building in Garapan.
For the safety of CUC men and women working at these sites, motorists are advised to proceed with caution when driving through these area.
