The 2019 TanHoldings Christmas Basketball Tournament will return to action tomorrow at the Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium.

Four matches will be played at the resumption of the holiday competition that took a break for nearly two weeks to give way to the repair work at the facility at the TSL Sports Complex.

In the first game at 4pm, Rollers 1 will take on Rollers 2 in the boys U18 division. The three other matches will also feature boys U18 teams with Rollers 3 battling the 670 Sonics in the second game at 5pm, Ol’Aces 3 facing Ol’Aces 2 in the third tiff at 6pm, and Fiesta Resort meeting Ol’Aces 1 in the last duel at 7pm.

The Ol’Aces 1 and Rollers 1 are tied for the early lead in the division after having won their first two games. The Rollers 2 holds a 1-1 mark, while Rollers 3 has a 0-2 slate, the same record that the Ol’Aces 3 owns, and the Ol’Aces 1 has a 0-1 card.

The tournament will play for two more days—Sunday and Monday—before taking a short break to give way to New Year’s celebration.

This Sunday, five matches will take place at the newly resurfaced Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium.

In the women’s division, the Lady Ol’Aces will take on the Baby Ol’Aces at 3pm, while CTSI will collide with Lady Rollers at 5pm. The Lady Ol’Aces are unbeaten in two games and aiming to keep their undefeated record, while both the Baby Ol’Aces and CTSI are gunning for win No. 2 as they hold similar 1-1 marks. The Lady Rollers are winless after two matches.

In the boys U18 game, the 670 Sonics will duel Rollers 1 at 4pm; Rollers 2 will square off against Ol’Aces 1 at 6pm; and Ol’Aces 3 will challenge Fiesta Resort at 7pm.

For Monday’s game, the schedule is as follows: Lady Rollers vs Lady Ol’Aces at 5:30pm; Rollers 3 vs Ol’Aces 1 at 6:30pm; CTSI vs Baby Ol’Aces at 7:30pm; and Fiesta Resort vs 670 Sonics at 8:30pm.
