This holiday season, join the American Memorial Park and its partner, Pacific Historic Parks as we remember those who served our country overseas during World War II, far from home.

Youth in grades K-5 are invited to join us for “Operation Christmas.” The program will highlight the importance of “peace on earth,” include a reading of a World War II holiday theme book, and ornament and card making stations. Youth will also have the opportunity to mail their holiday cards to a war veteran.

The program will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, at the American Memorial Park Visitor Center. Youth can join the morning session from 9am to 11:30am or the afternoon session from 1pm to 3:30pm. Parents or guardians must sign up children at the Visitor Center on the day of the program. Slots are limited and filled on a first-come, first- served basis.
