SMLC donates $2K to CHCC anti-diabetes program

Members of the Saipan Marianas Lions Club presented to the Commonwealth Health Care Corp.’s Diabetes Prevention & Control Program last Dec. 3, 2019, the $2,000 that was raised during its 2nd Annual 5K Walkathon Fundraiser that was held last Nov. 17, 2019.

By choosing the Diabetes Prevention & Control Program as this year’s beneficiary means that the Saipan Marianas Lions Club is able to support community access to diabetes screening supplies and lab fees for A1C testing, among other services that are not covered by federal grants.
