Trench Tech to hold free self-defense seminar
Trench Tech, Inc. is inviting female members of the community to participate in a self-defense seminar this Saturday at its gym in Garapan.
The seminar is free of charge and will be conducted by special guest speaker Monique Alvarez-Baza. The seminar will run from 2pm to 4pm and interested participants are requested to come in their comfortable clothing (preferably leggings and tank top or shirt) and bring a water bottle.
Meanwhile, Trench Tech is still accepting registration for the The Art of War 14 Grappling Submission Challenge set for Dec. 14.
Participants can sign up in the No Gi weight classes, including flyweight (100 lbs-134 lbs); bantamweight (135 lbs-144 lbs); featherweight (145 lbs-160 lbs); lightweight (161 lbs175 lbs); middleweight (176 lbs-204 lbs); and heavyweight (205 lbs and up). For Gi participants, men and women, may register in the absolute white, blue, purple, and brown belts. Registration fee is $20 per entry.
Spectators will be charged a $5 fee at the door and cash prizes will be up for grabs throughout the event.
