The opening of Surfrider Resort Hotel last Friday is yet another proof of Triple J Saipan Inc.’s commitment to the revival of Chalan Kanoa.

The village used to be the capital of Saipan during Japanese period and was the center of commercial activity for decades.

“The Surfrider Resort Hotel is another testament of our commitment as we continue to provide the best quality and service to the CNMI. We look forward to continue to recharge Chalan Kanoa and give back to the very people who have helped us prosper,” said Triple J Saipan chair and CEO Robert H. Jones.

Surfrider Resort consists of 52 upgraded rooms designed for modern comfort. The hotel is divided into three wings—south, lobby, and north—with the governor’s suite nestled on top of the Surf Club Saipan Restaurant affording guest to wake up to views of the beach front and pristine Saipan sunsets of Chalan Kanoa.

Features of the hotel’s design include:

An open front desk area that delivers a familiar and expedited check-in and out experience.

Flexible seating in the lobby with a sundries room inclusive of vending machines for refreshments and travel necessities.

A cutting-edge business center with wired and wireless Wi-Fi and a charging station for electronics.

Refreshingly streamlined guestrooms that provide comforts and features allowing guests to be productive during their stay and have a great night’s sleep including multiple points of power conveniently located throughout the room and functional storage allowing guests to live out of their suitcase or unpack into a variety of storage options.

The Surfrider Resort Hotel offers guests two dining experience options. The Great Harvest Bread Co. located in the south hotel wing facing Beach Road and is open from 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 3pm on Sundays offering guests breakfast, freshly baked goodies, sandwiches, salads and beverage refreshments as well as the option to bring back gift sets upon their return home.

The second dining experience offered at the Surfrider Resort Hotel is the beach front restaurant Surf Club open daily from 6:30am to 10pm with a breakfast menu, an all-day dinning menu, and a happy hour menu. As the hotel’s premier restaurant, guests can also book beach front parties of all sizes from small, intimate gatherings to large wedding events.
